Nikita Dutta: I will not tolerate a guy who throws attitude

How similar are you to Suman?
Suman behaves according to situations and deals with people in a mature manner -- I am also like that. Also, Suman and I are both good at multitasking -- I can handle 100 things comfortably in 20 minutes. But unlike Suman, I am not a good cook at all. Further, she is too nice to everyone -- I can’t be nice to every person I meet.

Suman falls in love with a chauvinistic character, Shravan (Namik Paul). Will you fall for such a guy in real life?Shravan is actually not chauvinistic; a sober kid, he changes because of some circumstances. But the way Suman deals with him is very realistic. She gives it back and doesn’t tolerate his attitude. Even I am like that in real life -- I will not tolerate a guy who throws attitude.

Describe your ideal guy…
This is a very tricky question. You can prepare a list of the qualities you would want in your ideal partner and fall in love with someone totally opposite. So, I don’t have an ideal guy in mind.

Namik is very tall. How was it shooting with him?
I got a jhatka when I saw Namik; I was like, ‘Oh my God, yeh kya ho gaya’. Until he came, I was very happy and confident about my height (5’7”). We use stools while shooting close-ups. It was tough initially but now, I am used to his height.

Do you lose your cool easily?
I am a control freak, I want everything to be prim and proper. Also, I want my meals at the right time. I am a bit of a psycho when it comes to food.

Considering the fact that Suman is an expert cook, tell us about your culinary skills...
They are absolute zilch. I can chop and peel vegetables, but can’t cook full meals. If you give me a recipe, I will follow it step by step -- that’s about it.  

Did you undergo any culinary training for the show?
I was asked to get comfortable with kitchen gadgets and ingredients. A cook was sent over to my place, to train me in the basics.
